Grand Master's Message

The Masons of Florida and I would like to welcome you to the Grand Lodge of Florida website. Our website is currently undergoing major revisions, so please bear with us as we make updates and add new features. The Masonic fraternity has a rich heritage of providing fellowship for its members and service to the community, and its traditions and rituals give us a strong sense of purpose and the opportunity to build and mould better men. But as Masons we must also look to the future, and be relevant in a world of innovation and technology where the rate of change seems to accelerate from year to year.

Thus your Grand Lodge officers have undertaken a major initiative to upgrade not only the Grand Lodge website, but also to upgrade the technology and facilities at the Grand Lodge office. In a few months Lodge Secretaries will be able to view the Grand Lodge office data about their members using an Internet browser, and will ultimately be able to submit updates to their member data, complete annual return data, and perform other related tasks. In the Grand Lodge office, upgrades are being made to the computing hardware and software, and some the more time-consuming tasks will be automated so that the staff can provide better service to the public and our members. I hope you find these changes beneficial as we evolve to twenty-first century technology. Finally, please bear with us as we make these changes, and be especially patient with the Grand Lodge Office staff as they are affected the most by these changes and upgrades.
