2. A Mason committing suicide is not entitled to Masonic services.
3. A Mason residing twelve months or more under the jurisdiction of any Particular Lodge, willfully unaffiliated, shall be entitled to a Masonic funeral.
4. Past Masters are not allowed to wear their Past Master's aprons during Masonic funeral services.
5. The family of a deceased Brother Mason may select non-Masons to be pallbearers.
6. Shriners may not wear their fezes during Masonic services.
7. The white apron is worn by the deceased at the time of Masonic services.
8. The Benediction must always be pronounced by the Chaplain.
9. The Lodge Charter is draped for 28 days after the death of a member of the Lodge in charge of the service.
10. If a present Grand Master is present at a Masonic funeral, he must join the procession behind the Worshipful Master of the Lodge.
11. The Worshipful Master must remove his hat at all times the Benediction is offered.
12. The funeral home usually determines the time for the Masonic services.
13. A current dues card cannot be used as evidence for a sojourning Brother's rights for Masonic services.
14. An Entered Apprentice in good standing is entitled to Masonic funeral services.
15. A Lodge opened for the sole and only purpose of conducting funeral ceremonies may remain opened until closed by the Master at some other date.
16. Other Lodges invited to participate in the funeral service may form their own formation with their own Officers.
17. Funerals are always conducted in the Master Mason Degree.
18. The white apron is not placed on the casket when the casket is draped with the Flag.
19. The ceremonies for proper Masonic funeral services is found in the Masonic Digest.
20. The Masonic funeral service is usually read to prevent mistakes.
21. The Worshipful Master always speaks last at the graveside.
22. White ribbons are usually used to attach black crepe to the Steward's rods.
23. If the deceased was a Past District Deputy Grand Master, his home Lodge drapes their Charter and Altar.
24. The Worshipful Master cannot make pro-tem appointments to fill vacancies in the funeral procession.
25. Masonic funerals are usually not public services.
